Fashion In Art
Inspired by the 2026 Met Gala theme, "Fashion Is Art," this work is set within the galleries of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, bringing together masterpieces such as Gustav Klimt's Mäda Primavesi and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (The Woman in Gold), alongside John Singer Sargent's Madame X, with contemporary fashion. The featured looks draw inspiration from these iconic artworks, creating a dialogue between classical painting and haute couture that transcends time.
This work explores fashion as more than clothing — a medium that connects art, the body, and cultural expression. As art steps beyond the frame and fashion enters the museum, the boundaries between the two dissolve, offering a contemporary interpretation of the many meanings of "Fashion Is."
